“Treat the house as yours, just stay out of my bedroom and closet. These are loaners.” He dropped the clothes on the bed and glanced at our joined hands, his eyes narrowing. “He doesn’t need you to change, does he?” Then he walked out.

I stared after him and sighed. The look on Dev’s face said he was going to have a thing or two to say to his brother before the week was over.

“Moron,” Rhys said.

“I second that.” Nara looked at me. “If you want me to kick his ass for you, let me know. He doesn’t like to hit girls, which puts him at a disadvantage.”

EDNAH WALTERS grew up reading Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys and dreaming of one day writing her own stories. She is a stay-at-home mother of five humans and two American short-hair cats (one of which has ADHD) and a husband. RUNES: Review and Some Important News

Valhalla, Odin, Freya, Hel, Valkyries Oh MY!

My head and my heart hurt…Runes was awesome! The ending not so awesome :0( I don’t want to be spoilery but it’s pretty cliffy and not a good situation for my girl Raine. Look that’s not a bad thing but for ME?!!!! Someone with a pretty strict reading schedule it’s a deep burn. Like down to my soul. Lol I wish I could just toss every book in my way through the shredder but no worries my pretties it won’t be long!



R-eality, Raine’s life is about to change. The changes are closer to home than she knows.
U-nique, as far as new transfers go Keyville is loaded with them and one has put a target on Raine.
N-orns, soon Raine will come face to face with her past present and perhaps future.
E-scaping, fate should never be tampered with but Torin’s heart gives him no choice.
S-ecrets, everything has been revealed Raine knows the stakes but is not prepared for the blow fate has in store.

Pum, pum, pum! Okay so confession time, at the beginning I wasn’t in love with Raine. She was very contradictory she would say I’m ignoring them forever and then be all up in the business one second later. I also am not a huge fan of how she handles Eirik, though we get some foreshadowing and a bit of resolution towards the end she still has a ways to go. Raine’s feelings are explained so her actions are justified in a sense but it’s still frustrating. Even through all of that she demonstrates a fire and she loves fiercely so yeah she has a lot of growing to do but she doesn’t have a ceiling and I can’t wait to see her kick butt!



Torin on the other hand…Love at first sight! His first enemy was himself big on following rules he denied his heart but once he lets go there is no end to what he would sacrifice for Raine. He is awesome I heart him pretty freakin hard! There is a point in the book where he opens up to Raine and its magical!



The story wow! Norse Mythology where in fictional lit have you been my whole life? This is the first book I’ve read that has touched on those sexy Northmen and I hope it’s not my last!! ;) Don’t get me wrong my name is Zeus’ mom’s name so... "much love" to Greek mythology but…Thor? yea nuff said ;) I love this concept and Ms Walters nails it I’m dying to continue this series like yesterday so I absolutely recommend it!!! Bravo bravo!

You, my loyal fans, have made this series successful. Because of you, Torin was nominated for the YA Crush Tourney a month after the release of Runes and did amazingly well for a new book crush. I hope you enjoyed meeting Echo in Grimnirs. He's definitely giving Torin a run for his money.

When I started this series last year I did it out of a dare to finish a book in 4 weeks during the Nano month. Runes was fun and flirty. I giggled as I wrote most of the scenes and fell in love with all the characters.

The first book was all about Torin and Raine finding each other and love, and of course, Raine learning some cool things about herself. This is going to be a long journey for her. Book 2, Immortals, did not lack in the love department because these two have a love that comes once in a lifetime but they have to fight to be together. But Immortals is also about Raine coming to terms with what she will one day become. She is more important than anyone imagines and the choices she makes are going to have some huge consequences. Nothing will be what it seems, friends will be more than what they are on the surface, and enemies will surprise you, but don't get angry because things always work out when dealing with true love.

The things I have planned for this series are big and exciting, and I can't wait to share them with you. SEERESS, (book #3-Raine and Torin’s story continues), will be out in spring of 2014. I call them my guilty pleasures. These will be full-length romance novels like Grimnirs-Cora’s story. Just like Echo, there’s so much about these guys we don’t know about (I’m serious. I still have stories to write for Blaine, Eirik, Viggo (this arrogant god needs to be humbled by a mere Mortal methink), Ingrid, and of course, Andris .

2. I also fell in love with the second cover Cora showed me, which would be perfect too. I was conlficted between having a girl only on the cover. This is a trend that's been going on FOREVER and even though I love this cover too, I'm a bit tired of having perfect girls on book covers.
