  1. I would probably choose Awakened only because I have not read any of the series so it would make the most sense to start at the very beginning (of course if I won it would mean I would have to quickly buy the others, and I would!!) Book trailers can indeed influence me to buy a book the same way a good cover (yes, I'm guilty of judging a book by it's cover!!) can at times influence me to buy it and a movie trailer can sucker me into watching a movie. Book trailers tend to get me more often than they should though I fear. Thank you for the chance to enter the giveaway :)

  6. I don't have any of the series yet, so I would want to start with the first book, Awakened.
Booktrailers don't influence me on buying a book. Most don't have/tell more than what's in the blurb, and often they don't add anything. Show-y graphics and a good-looking actor (if we're lucky), but not always how I would picture the character(s). To be honest, I prefer a better blurb or good/detailed (no necessarily spoiler) review.

  11. I have a compulsion to always start at the beginning of a series, so I would have to choose Awakened :)
I think book trailers can influence whether or not I read a book, but mostly the description and/or an excerpt is what makes me actually decide to read a book.

  15. I have to start with the first book of a series, so I would like Awakened. Watched the trailer. It was good but I really prefer to read a description/ excerpt from the book and I love to read other people's reviews and ratings! I added Hunted to my Goodreads shelf and joined your page on Facebook.

  17. I would like to start with awakened. I think that a books cover is really what draws me. To be honest I don't watch trailer of books. Although I am sure they can be helpful, I enjoy the mystery of just randomly picking up a book and finding out what is about while you read it.

  21. Awakened would be my choice so that I could get a better idea of what is going on with the series - I like seeing book trailers, but for the most part they don't influence my buying decision - my thanks, too, for the great chance to win!

Happy and Healthy 2013 to all!

Book trailers usually don't influence whether or not I want to read the book, usually it's the synopsis or the reviews from my favorite reviewers!

  25. I would chose "Awakened" and I don't think the trailers ever help me make a decision about what to read. Sometimes they come off cheesy and make me not want to read a book I previously wanted to.
I friended you via FB and added that book to my "TBR" shelf on Goodreads.

  41. I think I'll be different and go with Betrayed.. It seems that many times the prequel will come out after the beginning of the series so I'd rather start with book #1. lol.
Honestly, I don't watch book trailers much. So no, they don't really influence me. Although I have been known to judge a book by it's cover :( I much prefer to read the book blurb or an excerpt.

I also added both books on Goodreads and am now a facebook fan.
