What a weekend.
1.
One, a dear friend of mine took my girls to Lagoon. I
couldn’t go because I’m in the middle of edits and have a deadline. *sigh* What I do for my readers.
2.
The edits are kicking my butt. I’m on the third round
and I keep finding the dumbest mistakes. “That” seems to be all over the place…grrrr. It’s time for beta-readers then my editor.
3.
Today, I was supposed to officially start my new WIP
and it’s not going to happen. I hate messing with my own schedule.
4.
I won Very Inspiring Blogger award, woohoo! Thanks, Kelly Hashway. If you don’t already follow her, you should.
She’s an amazing blogger and writer.
I have to tell you 7 things about myself and pass this award
to some inspiring bloggers
1.
I’m an extremely private person.
2.
I collect porcelain dolls and mermaid dolls
3.
I hate Mac & Cheese
4.
I could live on vegetable salads and cheese if I could
get away with it.
5.
My dream vacation is me, alone at a secluded hotel room
with internet, and my computer, so I can write my heart out.
6.
I fear heights. Somehow I always look down and imagine
plunging to death then start panicking.
7.
I write both adult romance (contemporary) and YA
You're a trooper, Ednah. I'm sure you'll be back on schedule in no time.
ReplyDeleteI hope so, Sarah. Officially starting today. Haven't started yet.
DeleteOne of the characters in Touch of Death loves mac and cheese. :) Sorry you didn't get to start your new WIP today. I'm diving into mine tomorrow because I just finished revising the third book in the ToD trilogy.
ReplyDeleteI collect dolls too and have a couple of old ones from my childhood, storybook characters.
DeleteSometimes it seems like those edits will never end. They eventually do, right before we pull all our hair out. :)
Your books have great covers.
Thanks Beverly. Yeah, edits can be a pain. After a while, you complete sentences without reading them.
DeleteKelly, is the series over after the third one?
DeleteI think I'm going to miss a self-imposed deadline this week too. I'm supposed to finish a short story before my in-laws arrive (at 4:30 am) and start edits on a novel. Not going to happen.
ReplyDeleteHappy to know I'm not alone, Beth. Determined to start today even if it is tonight.
DeleteHmm...I'm afraid that I am the opposite to you about the heights thing. I love heights, mainly because I get a sort of exhilaration from being high up. But thanks for sharing these facts and future plans.

Lucky you, I don't even play around on swings or sit in the back seat of a car on a meandering road without taking motion sickness tablets....
